Debt Advisory Group - Who are we?
The Debt Advisory business advises borrowers (listed and private businesses including private equity funds) throughout all stages of their fund-raising journey. We are independent of lenders, products and markets, meaning we provide objective advice on the optimum funding solutions for our clients.
What do we do?
Typically, our process starts with a financing options appraisal before supportingpanies through the entire fund-raising process from initial engagement with the debt markets through to negotiation and documentation of the agreement. Our experience and expertise span a broad range of products (ABL, bank debt, private placement, unitranche, subordinated debt and bonds).
Interpath's Debt Advisory team is expanding rapidly, with the goal of quickly building a market leading debt advisory business. As a result, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join us as a Manager in our Debt Advisory Group. You will be responsible for providing debt advisory services to a diverse range of clients, managing transactions and assisting with business development.
Key Accountabilities :
- Manage the end-to-end debt advisory process for clients, epassing options appraisal, financing strategy, transaction execution, and ongoing relationship management.
- Lead client meetings and structuring discussions to develop tailored financing solutions that align with client objectives.
- Prepare high-quality financial analyses, transaction marketing materials, and presentations.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and assess market conditions to aid in the funding solution selection process.
- Negotiate with lenders and other relevant parties to ensure optimal financing terms for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
- Support business development activities by contributing to pitches, targeting new clients, and expanding existing client relationships.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing support in their professional development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies within the Debt Advisory Group.
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in debt advisory, corporate finance, or related fields.Professional qualifications such as CAI, CFA, or equivalent preferred.Advanced financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to build real estate models from scratch.Experience in multi-tenant modelling, incorporatingplex rental ie profiles.Expertise in structuring development loans and assessing various capital structures, including junior debt, senior debt, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, andmon equity.Proficiency in senior debt repayment modelling, covering interest-only structures, amortisation schedules, and interest roll-up scenarios.Strong analytical skills in debt covenant modelling, including IRR (Internal Rate of Return), NPV (Net Present Value), MOIC (Multiple on Invested Capital), ICR (Interest Coverage Ratio), DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio), Max LTV (Loan to Value) and DY (Dividend Yield).Benefits
