  • Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
  • Preparing meals and supporting with feeding if required
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting medication prompts / reminders
  • Carrying out light household duties (tidying, laundry, etc.)
  • Promoting client independence and dignity at all times
  • Reporting concerns or changes in health to the office promptly
  • Accurately recording visit notes and care updates
  • You must have either :

  • 2 QQI Level 5 modules (Care Skills / Healthcare Support and Care of the Older Person)
  • 1+ year of HCA experience and a willingness to complete the modules - we'll provide them FREE!
  • Good spoken and written English is essential
  • Professional experience is desirable, but we also welcome newcomers ready to begin their career in care.
