Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage the financial operations of its Irish sites. Responsibilities : Prepare and deliver regular performance reports, providing insights into operational efficiency, output, and cost trends. Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple business units, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met with precision. Produce detailed management accounts, financial summaries, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making. Oversee transactional activities including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and inform investment or improvement initiatives. Partner with operational and management teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance optimisation. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and maintain strong internal financial controls. Monitor and report on capital and operational expenditures, ensuring effective cost management and governance across projects. Track core operating costs, identify areas for efficiency gains, and implement initiatives to enhance profitability. Requirements : Qualified Accountant. Strong technical accounting knowledge. PQE in a relatable industry. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Remuneration : A strong remuneration package DOE.
