Architectural Design Manager

Design Manager County Meath €75-80k

INFORM3 are recruiting for an experienced Architectural Design Manager for an established and well-known construction company.

The successful candidate will play a role in providing design delivery and integration of projects across the bid, design, installation and commissioning phases.

Using your excellent technical skills, team leadership and communication skills, you will be taking the overall lead in designated projects to produce designs and associated deliverables.

Responsibilities

Taking full responsibility for the architectural design coordination of projects developing the designs, producing workshop drawings, and managing the coordination between departments

Ensuring technical excellence across projects and opportunities from pre-project through to detailed delivery

Providing a focus for, and leading, the pre-construction phase design processes, liaising with the client and design team

Audit the designs and identifying inconsistencies, discrepancies and missing information as well as recording, reporting and tracking

Managing the production and control of the design programme and reporting against it

Reviewing the development of designs regularly alongside the stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned

Managing the production and approval of samples, mock-ups and quality benchmarks

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years or experience performing in a similar role

Degree Certification in a relevant subject highly desirable

Knowledge in current building regulations and H&S legislation

A passion for architectural design, a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement on both a personal and divisional level

A high level of attention to detail and the ability to stay focused

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

The organisational skills it takes to prioritise your own work, deliver on time and delegate effectively
