Process Technicians are directly involved in the development of innovative products and processes for the benefit of our patients and business.

Come for a job, stay for a career! A day in the life of : Working with the Engineering and Operations teams in a hands-on role to support automated equipment sets with a focus on strong Yield and OEE.

Troubleshooting equipment to ensure maximum uptime and output.

Working with support teams to identify and implement process improvements that will positively impact Yield and OEE.

Executing validation protocols, running trials and test work, Feasibility Studies, Parameter Development and Operational qualifications, including Challenge tests to establish and demonstrate stable processes and capability.

The role also involves helping to ensure our products are manufactured to comply with product design requirements and Quality compliance.

Meeting with cross functional teams to help progress projects, giving insight into processing requirements and making recommendations.

Working with external companies and contractors to discuss and progress process improvements.

Performs a variety of duties in the engineering, process, and development areas.

Can work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.

Key Skills & Experience Minimum NRQ Level 6 degree or higher qualification in Mechanical, Polymer, Biomedical or related Engineering / Science discipline or trade qualified with good hands-on experience.

Knowledge of Automation and / or primary processing such as Extrusion, Blow moulding or Injection moulding an advantage Requires broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience and / or education.

Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a highly regulated environment, typically Med Tech / Pharma / Plastics / Automated processing environments.

Experience in executing validations, development of processing parameters, executing Trials, OQ and PQ orders.

Experience in writing SOPs, Standard Work's, and Reports.

Familiar with problem solving techniques and methodologies.

Ability to train and mentor Technical Ops, sharing process knowledge and product requirements.

Ability to adjust or recommend improvements to systems, tooling, and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.

Can work independently with general supervision.

A dynamic team player and can work effectively on cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel for equipment testing and training.

A good communicator and fluent in English, both in written and spoken.

Flexibility to occasionally work outside of normal shifts and weekends if required to execute tasks aligned with machine availability and business needs.

The position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor or designee.

This role is for day shift with the possibility of working evening shift.
