Job Title : Commis Chef Location : McMahons Gastro Bar Celbridge Salary : Starting from €15 per hour (depending on experience) Job Type : Full-time / Part-time Experience Required : Minimum 2 years in a professional kitchen About the Role : We are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.

As part of our culinary team, youll support senior chefs in preparing high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Key Responsibilities : Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times Ensure food preparation areas comply with hygiene and health & safety regulations Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute to smooth kitchen operations Monitor stock levels and report shortages Support mise en place for service Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Requirements : Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene Passion for food and keen to learn new skills Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen Good communication and teamwork skills Culinary qualification or relevant training is a plus (but not essential) Benefits : Competitive hourly rate starting at €15 Opportunities for training and career progression Employee Discount Onsite Parking Bike to work scheme
