Contract :

Fixed Term - 12 Months

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Business Analyst with extensive experience in Finance and Corporate Treasury Transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing TMS projects and utilizing their finance expertise.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, requirements management, and elicitation skills are essential.

The candidate should be proactive, diligent, capable of working independently, and collaborative with project teams and stakeholders.

Building strong business relationships and effective stakeholder management are critical for success in this role.

As a Business Analyst at Beazley, your core purpose is to develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end user journeys and processes.

You will accurately elicit, challenge, and document requirements, processes, and scope.

You will be a key member of the Process Improvement & Innovation (PI&I) team, focusing on "building the thing right" while balancing value, technical debt, and scalable solutions—ensuring alignment with "building the right thing" principles.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, configure, and implement the TMS solution with FIS, our implementation partner, and enhance BAU processes and controls;
  • Partner effectively with Treasury and Finance teams to develop and optimize TMS and related processes for functionality, reporting, audit, and control;
  • Elicit, understand, challenge, and translate business value into high-quality requirements and user stories;
  • Maintain traceability of requirements and user stories throughout the product lifecycle;
  • Align requirements, user stories, and test outputs, including supporting User Acceptance Testing;
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure user stories are detailed and ready for configuration, owning them from conception to delivery;
  • Aid stakeholders in understanding trade-offs and achieving consensus;
  • Ensure solution designs align with Enterprise Architecture principles and strategic design guidelines;
  • Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technological trends, and coach stakeholders on leveraging these for business value;
  • Provide clear, frequent updates on analytical tasks and progress to stakeholders;
  • Adopt a data-driven approach in all activities, respecting data flow and its role as a key performance driver;

Build strong relationships with Product Owners and understand their business challenges.

Personal Specification :

Education & Qualifications :

Graduate education or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).

Knowledge & Experience :

  • Business Transformation experience;
  • Experience in treasury and cash systems / technology, operations, and controls;
  • Knowledge of deal lifecycle, treasury instruments, and TMS systems (experience with FIS Integrity is highly desirable);
  • Experience in finance transformation projects, process re-engineering, and systems implementation;
  • Understanding of treasury processes, payments, and related systems;
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and teams across multiple time zones;
  • Experience with SWIFT services, treasury accounting, and working in Agile environments;
  • Proficiency in data flow analysis, user story management, and documenting complex processes;
  • Experience working with global teams, software providers, and outsourcing partners;
  • Strong team collaboration and project management skills.
