Laois Hire is a leading plant and tool hire company in Ireland that provide a comprehensive range of services from tool and plant machinery to highly specialised equipment. We have a new opportunityfor an enthusiastic and driven Tool Fitter to join our team in Dublin. In this role you will be : Carrying out testing, servicing, and maintenance on a range of small petrol powered tools. Managing workshop tasks and ensuring the servicing schedule is consistently up to date. Assisting customers in the yard and providing equipment demonstrations when needed. Ensuring all small plant equipment is well-maintained, operational, and presentable. Diagnosing equipment faults, ordering necessary parts, and completing repairs efficiently. Updating order books and job cards accurately and in a timely manner. Keeping the Branch Manager and hire desk informed on the status and progress of ongoing repairs. Cleaning tools to ensure they meet hire standards. What will help you to excel in this role : Previous experience working on petrol power tools including diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance. Good understanding of hydraulic and mechanical principals The ability to work independently and under pressure.
