Health Care Assistant - FullTime & PartTime Opportunities

Location : Donegal | Hourly Rate : Up to €15.20

Bluebird Care is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our growing team in Donegal. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected care provider committed to delivering highquality, personcentred support in the community Ballybofey, Cardonagh, Donegal Town, Letterkenny.

Weekday Rates (Mon-Sat) :

  • G2 : €7.50 (30min), €10.50 (45min), €14.00 (1hr)
  • G3 : €8.00 (30min), €11.25 (45min), €15.00 (1hr)
  • Unit Staff : €15.00 (1hr)

Sunday Rates :

  • G2 : €8.00 (30min), €11.25 (45min), €15.00 (1hr)
  • G3 : €9.00 (30min), €12.00 (45min), €16.00 (1hr)
  • Unit Staff : €16.00 (1hr)
  • Bank Holiday Rates :

  • G2 : €14.00 (30min), €21.00 (45min), €28.00 (1hr)
  • G3 : €15.00 (30min), €22.50 (45min), €30.00 (1hr)
  • Unit Staff : €30.00 (1hr)
  • Key Responsibilities.

    Provide personal care and support with daily activities, including hygiene and meal preparation

    Monitor and report changes in client wellbeing, contributing to care plans as needed

    Promote a safe, respectful environment while ensuring compliance with policies and care standards

    Desirable Requirements

  • Completed QQI Level 5 modules in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills
  • or -
  • A minimum of one year's experience in a care setting and a commitment to completing these modules
  • Essential Requirements

  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Access to your own transport
  • A strong understanding of professional boundaries, confidentiality, and the importance of maintaining client dignity
