Senior Software Developers / Java / Telecom / Orchestration

Endeavour Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilledSenior Software Developer with Java, Telecom and Orchestration experience.

The role is for our leading global Telecoms client based in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities :

Guiding software development of a research / technology project, including working with external development partners and internal engineers;

Development of novel and innovative solutions in the Orchestration domain

Rapid Development and design on JAVA based server side software to prove the concept of prototypes

Ability to take general direction from lead architect, but more importantly be able to work in an efficient and independent manner.

Skills :

Proven experience with Open source software development

Proven experience with NFV / SDN / Cloud based Orchestration technologies

In-depth understanding of the specification, design, documentation, coding, testing and release of commercial software;

Demonstrated experience on server side development;

Demonstrated experience in building prototypes;

Fluent in multiple programming languages, includingJAVA;

Experience in developing models with Eclipse environment using Ecore, XML, XMI.

A deep understanding of object oriented design in software systems and MDA;

Experience in coding real-time / multi-thread software;

Sound knowledge of XML / XMI.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Problem solving ability and lateral thinking capability;

Proven ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines to accomplish objectives;

Proven ability to work in small teams with very little guidance;

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
