Programme Executive – Research Development and Demonstration (RD&D)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Executive – Research Development and Demonstration to join a dynamic team within a leading organisation committed to decarbonising Ireland's energy system.

This role is perfect for someone experienced in research programme administration with a passionate for sustainable energy and looking to make a significant impact in the field of research, development, and demonstration.

Hybrid working policy with a minimum of two days in the office.
29 days annual leave.

What You’ll Do :

Participate in strategy and programme development within the RD&D Team.

Support the National Energy RD&D Funding Programme Calls, including coordination of project evaluation and oversight.

Enhance communication and dissemination activities relating to R&D projects.

Support research and innovation activities.

Represent the company in national and international committees.

Requirements :

A minimum of 3 years in research programme administration / management or an energy research-related area.

3rd level qualification in a relevant energy-related area with an engineering, scientific, or social science background, or equivalent.

Understanding of national and European energy policy priorities.

Knowledge of Ireland’s energy-related research strengths and opportunities.

Proven project management skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
