We are seeking a

Quality Technician II

on a

6 month defined term

basis to join our team.

Purpose

This role manages the controlling of closed Exception Reports / Non-Conformance Reports, Line Audits & Non-Conforming Report Board Reports that are generated.

Compiling non-conformance Board Reports each month & compiling various documents for Management on an ad hoc basis.

This role carries out line assessments and supports Internal Audits as per relevant schedules alongside compiling Yield & Scrap Reports.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance to all applicable regulatory standards and current GMP procedures and practices.

Complete customer complaint investigations.

Routine final functional testing, product release criteria testing / inspection and recording of test results.

Review and update of QA Documentation.

Control of non-conforming product.

Problem solving, PDCA and continuous improvement investigations.

Perform line assessments and support internal audits, as required.

Provide assistance and support to the Quality Engineering and Operations function.

Provision of excellent service to all internal customers for the production group or functional area in which they work.

Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on one's own initiative and with minimum supervision is required.

Good interpersonal, presentation and organisational skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their manager.

Requirements / Qualifications

NQF Level 6 (120 Credits) or above in STEM Discipline.

Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on one's own initiative and with minimum supervision.

Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Experience and Product Knowledge in finished goods manufacturing desirable.

Problem solving / PDCA knowledge desirable.
