Calibration & Instrumentation Technician

Details :

Opportunity to join leading energy organisation, hybrid working, 35-hour week based remotely covering Leinster with company vehicle.

Participation and performance in the delivery of planned, corrective and reactive C&I operational and capital project activities on the transmission and distribution networks.

Validation and calibration of Fiscal Gas Metering systems throughout the transmission and distribution network

Support the development of new technologies (CNG / Biomethane / Hydrogen)

Maintenance and problem solving on all C&I assets and installations including but not limited to liaising with vendors on issues, diagnosing faults and endeavoring to maintain minimal downtime with faults and alarms, asset data capture requirements and red line updates on drawings.

Experience

Holder of National Craft Certificate in appropriate trade with ideally some knowledge of SCADA and Modbus communications, ATEX, calibration and maintenance of process instrumentation (i.e. pressure and temperature), fiscal metering, heating systems and RTU / PLC systems.

Applicants must hold a full driving license.

Proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment and success from others.
