Finance Manager

FINANCE MANAGER GALWAY CITY - ONSITE My client, a publicly funded organisation seeks to hire a new Finance Manager to join their team. You will join a wider team of 6, reporting to the Finance Director. You will be a fully qualified accountant, with 4+ years experience in industry. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Director of Finance with financial strategy and projections Lead the annual budget process, including preparation, implementation, monitoring and reporting Identify potential funding streams and prepare costings for projects and new initiatives Monitor operational and capital expenditure, ensuring proper cash flow management Maintain compliance with all statutory, tax and regulatory requirements Oversee internal controls, ensuring best practice financial standards and GDPR compliance Manage general ledgers, accounting systems and reporting for audit and compliance purposes Ensure accurate year-end reporting of liabilities, accruals, debtors and stock Provide leadership and support to staff within finance, HR and client services functions Foster a positive team culture that encourages professional development and learning REQUIREMENTS Recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIPFA or equivalent) Minimum 4 years experience in financial or management accounting Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and computerised accounting / HR systems (ideally Exchequer Enterprise and Core HR or similar) Proven leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to manage, support and motivate staff in a dynamic environment For more information, please contact #LI-PKCABC Skills : budgeting planning forecasting cashflow funding costing capex Benefits : Parking Pension
