GPC Finance has partnered with a leading Chartered Accountancy firm in Ireland that provides innovative, dynamic business and taxation solutions to their extensive client list.

Due to continuous growth, they now require a Trainee Accountant to join their team.

Huge opportunity for progression.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of our clients and their businesses.

Understand from your manager the scope of tasks allocated and objectives to be achieved.

Keep seniors and managers fully informed of any issues and problems.

Make full use of the resources and people available to find answers to queries before handing work on to the manager.

Accurately complete and maintain timesheets to ensure proper billing for clients.

Ability to interact with clients and obtain necessary information.

Taking responsibility for regular jobs and for finishing work that may come back to you following review or client clarifications.

Ad hoc accounting and administrative work as required.

Requirements

Accountancy or Business Degree

Must plan to pursue ACA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA qualification.

Have strong problem-solving and excellent verbal & written communication capabilities.

Strive to continually improve and deliver quality.

Have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage change successfully.

Proficiency in Excel would be a distinct advantage.

Salary & Benefits

€25,000 – €28,000 DOE
