CVRT Tester

Joe Duffy Cork are currently recruiting a Qualified CVRT at our Joe Duffy Ford dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining LCVs to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with RSA regulations. Applicants must be CVRT certified. Responsibilities : Perform full CVRT testing on LCVs in compliance with RSA standards. Conduct mechanical inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner Liaise with customers to explain inspection findings and necessary repairs Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment Keep up to date with industry best practices, safety regulations, and testing procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery Requirements : Recognised qualification in Vehicle Mechanics or a related discipline Full CVRT certification for LCV testing Proven experience working on LCVs in a commercial setting Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and mechanical systems Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving Full clean driving licence Strong communication skills and a commitment to high standards of workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits : salary annual leave
