Site Engineer

Your new company You will be joining a well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong presence across Ireland. The company is known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across sectors such as roads, utilities, and water services. With a growing pipeline of work in the Cork region, they are seeking a Site Engineer to join their experienced team and contribute to the successful delivery of ongoing and upcoming projects. Your new role As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of site operations. You will be responsible for setting out, quality control, and ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and health & safety standards. You will work closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of the project. Key responsibilities include : Setting out and surveying using GPS and total station equipment Interpreting technical drawings and specifications Monitoring site progress and maintaining accurate records Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team Supporting the preparation of reports and documentation What you'll need to succeed Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within civil engineering Proficiency in setting out and surveying equipment Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Full driving licence and flexibility to travel to site locations What you'll get in return Competitive salary and benefits package Company vehicle or travel allowance Opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Career development and training opportunities What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
