Job descriptionQualified accountant with 10+ years relevant post qualification experience in a complex financial services environment or a similar senior role in an organisation with large scale and complexity. Excellent academic track record, IFRS technical accounting skills, knowledge of Irish tax legislation, European regulatory reporting standards. Demonstrable track record of implementing change through technology to achieve continuous service improvement and the future shape and capability of finance functions. Project management skills and a record of successful execution and delivery capability whilst working to tight deadlines is crucial.
The Role
- Oversee financial accounting and reporting, tax and regulatory reporting teams.
- Drive strategic development and project activities within the group and the delivery of finance transformation projects.
- Developing financial systems & reporting processes, in particular the introduction of a new Financial Reporting ERP solution.
- Developing and managing the tax strategy for the Group and ensuring compliance with all tax obligations and filing requirements.
