Deputy Director - Regulatory Oversight and Assurance Location : Dublin or Cork or Galway Grade : Principal Officer Tenure : Permanent This is a senior management role in the Authority. The post holder will report to the Chief Inspector of Social Services and their functions provides support to the Social Care Regulatory Directorate, to the Healthcare Directorate and to HIQA at corporate level. The post holder will provide clear and effective leadership and operational management to effectively deliver three functions; Regulatory Practice Development Unit Service User Experience and Concerns Unit Regulatory Operations Unit Other roles also operate within the remit of the post holder such as HIQA's Designated Officer for Adult Safeguarding. Essential : Degree qualification (Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent) in a Health or Social Care related field deemed relevant by the Authority for the post of Regulatory Oversight and Assurance as advertised.
