We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in Operational Readiness

to support the planning, implementation, and assurance of operations and maintenance (O&M) systems for new rail and urban transit projects.

The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in the setup and management of O&M organizations, staff training, and support for commissioning and safety certification phases.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of safety driven Operational Readiness work streams for new rail systems, aligning with international best practices and local regulatory requirements.

Design and implement training frameworks, including "train-the-trainers" programs, to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer and capacity building for O&M staff.

Support the setup and structuring of O&M organizations, defining operational procedures, resource plans, and performance metrics.

Manage and supervise testing, commissioning, and trial run phases, ensuring all operational systems are validated and ready for service.

Contributing to operational risk assessments and safety cases.

Coordinate with stakeholders including system integrators, safety assessors, rolling stock experts, and regulatory bodies to ensure a cohesive readiness process.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in configuration management within large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, or safety-critical industries.

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

MS Office i.e. at least intermediate Excel and Word skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Willingness to travel as per business and client requirements
