About the Role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong experience in Apache Kafka and Axon Framework . You will design, build, and maintain resilient, event-driven systems, automate processes, and manage cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate and manage Apache Kafka : configure topics, manage partitions, monitor metrics, troubleshoot issues.

Design and maintain event-driven systems using Axon Framework with CQRS / ES patterns.

Work with other messaging platforms such as NATS or MQ as needed.

Build automation scripts and integrations using Python, Go, Java, or Bash.

Manage Linux / Unix systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog) and maintain CI / CD pipelines.

Apply security best practices and compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR).

Qualifications :

3–5 years of hands-on experience in software development, SRE, or systems administration.

Proven experience in Apache Kafka and Axon Framework .

Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix administration, cloud platforms, and automation.

Familiarity with networking, observability, and security practices.

Eligibility Criteria :

Must be based in Ireland or have a valid work permit for Dublin .
