Cloud Engineer

We are seeking aCloud Platform Engineer to join our technology consulting team in Dublin. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal teams. Assist in delivering presentations and proposals for medium to complex projects. Create high-quality deliverables and act as a subject matter expert on cloud platform engineering. Identify opportunities to enhance client service offerings and improve cloud solutions. Collaborate with internal teams across various consulting services to drive innovation. Mentor and support junior staff members in their professional growth. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously enhance technical skills. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices. Skills and Attributes for Success Proven experience inCloud Platform Engineering with expertise inAzure, AWS, or GCP. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. A curious, analytical, and personable approach to problem-solving. Passion for cloud technologies and continuous learning. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong troubleshooting skills and keen attention to detail. Required Qualifications & Experience 3-5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering. Hands-on experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). Proficiency inInfrastructure as Code (IaC) usingTerraform, ARM, Bicep, Powershell, Python, or similar. Solid understanding ofnetworking principles and configurations. Experience withcode quality analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance validation. Expertise inLinux / Windows administration with scripting capability inPython, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy. Knowledge ofDevOps pipelines, code repositories, and automated testing frameworks. Experience inapplication load balancing solutions for scalability and high availability. Associate or Expert level certifications inMicrosoft, AWS, GCP, or IBM Cloud. Desirable Experience Exposure to cloud-hosted platforms and environments. Relevantindustry certifications in cloud computing. Experience withAgile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean, TDD, CI / CD). Familiarity withSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Workflow management using Agile collaboration tools. Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas : Identity and Access Management (IAM) Cloud Security Networking and Load Balancing Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Configuration as Code and Automation Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting Patch Management Cloud-native development Why Join Us?
