Setting Out Engineer

Design Build Search is seeking a Setting-Out Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our client's experienced team based in North County Dublin. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to their career within an expanding contracting company who have a proven track record in delivering complex, diverse, and challenging construction projects. Responsibilities : Set out and survey all assigned construction sites using surveying equipment Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations Interpret construction plans and drawings and ensure that work is carried out to specification Provide technical advice and guidance to the construction team Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed on time and to company standard Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and workforce productivity Provide training and guidance to team members as required. Attend site meetings and provide progress reports as required. Requirements : Degree in Civil Engineering or a Construction related field. Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a similar role in the construction industry Minimum of 2 years' experience working on Residential, or Commercial New Build Construction Proficiency in the use of total station, GPS, laser level and other surveying equipment. Proficiency in the use of Autocad and associated programs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
