Based within a manufacturing Mill, this well-known Irish brand is recruiting for an experienced Senior Textile Sales Designer to design and sell apparel and accessory fabrics in the UK and international markets, designing for seasonal collections and bespoke customer developments. The brand is renowned for high-quality, high-end tailoring clothing.

This is a full-time role which, due to its nature and scope, is not suitable for remote / hybrid working .

Senior Textile Sales Designer – The Job Outline

• Sales development of forward order and stock collections to luxury brands.
• Working with the Design Team to create fabrics which are unique to the brand and appeal to our high-end trade customers – independent retailers, hotels, interior designers, international design houses and corporate gifting organisations and direct to consumer
• Keeping up-to-date with textile trends, as well as accessing the brand archives and interpreting these for production.
• Working with clients on bespoke developments and interpreting their ideas with design, colour and textures which suit their requirements and with efficient yarn management.
• Liaising with the Production Teams and understanding design implementation and bulk production.
• Maintaining and increasing sales with existing customers and prospecting for new customers, and management of the end-to-end sales cycle from building a sales pipeline.
• Together with the Design Team, admin, set up and attend relevant trade shows.
• Overseas travel at specific times of the year.
