Key Responsibilities :
- Developing quality assurance systems to prevent errors and defects in production.
- Developing quality KPI’s to measure performance and for reporting purposes.
- Inspection of all paperwork associated with the QA systems.
- Checking job dockets against previous issues and change controls, to ensure that any potential issues are highlighted in advance of production.
- Organisation of finished samples and colour standards.
- Review of non-conforming products, reporting on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Assisting in the preparation for customer, BRC and other certification audits.
- Carrying out internal audits and following through on any issues raised.
- Coordination with all departments to ensure all Pre-production information is available, meets customer specifications and any queries are clarified.
- Ensuring that customer labels are approved.
- Obtaining information from computerised production system.
- Maintenance of archived paperwork.
- Working in partnership with all departments to ensure Huhtamaki FS Delta complies with customer specifications and ensuring that they are customer approved and filed accordingly.
- Responding to customer queries / complaints and looking into the root cause analysis and corrective actions and following this through with managers and operators.
- Monitoring the change control system on site and ensuring that changes are assessed, managed and closed off.
- Adherence to the company standards, rules and procedures with particular regard to personal hygiene, health & safety and housekeeping.
- Initiating and maintaining presentations
- Initiating and maintaining reports and spreadsheets
