About the Opportunity
A well-established, independent town planning consultancy with offices across Ireland and the UK is seeking a Senior Planning Consultant and a Planning Consultant to join its Dublin office. The company provides strategic planning advice across various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, tourism, and leisure.
About the Roles
Senior Planning Consultant
Applicants should have an IPI or RTPI accredited degree / postgraduate qualification in Town Planning .
A minimum of five years of postgraduate planning experience in Ireland is required.
Planning Consultant
Applicants should have an IPI or RTPI accredited degree / postgraduate qualification in Town Planning .
2-3 years of postgraduate professional experience in Ireland is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage individual projects and contribute to planning applications, appeals, and assessments.
Prepare planning appraisals and policy submissions.
Conduct research and provide strategic planning advice.
Engage with stakeholders, clients, and authorities throughout the planning process.
Play an active role in all aspects of planning consultancy work.
About You
Ambitious and commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage a varied workload and meet strict deadlines.
A full driving licence and access to a car are required for the role.
