Clerical Officer - Claims (Temp) My client is a well-established and leading organisation based in Belfast, who are currently seeking a Clerical Officer (Claims) to join their team. This is a Full-Time, Temporary Position until the 24th of January 2025, with an immediate start. Hours of work : (37 hours per week). Monday - Thursday : 9am - 5.30pm and Fridays : 9am - 2pm With a salary of £12.43 per hour Job Role : You will be the first point of contact from solicitors and members of the public regarding claims received. In addition, you will be responsible for the Claims Capture function and undertake administrative, data input duties and answer telephone enquiries. You will also be required to highlight serious incidents to the senior claims team that require further investigation Essential Criteria : Minimum of 1 years' clerical experience. Minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent including Maths and English OR be able to demonstrate at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar post. Demonstrable experience of dealing with customer enquiries. IT proficient with the use of Microsoft Office packages, to include Word and Excel. Good numeracy skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Main Duties and Responsibilities : Liaise with third party solicitors and members of the public. Maintain confidentiality regarding all claim's correspondence. Instruct motor engineers to inspect third party vehicle damage. Provide support to Claims team function. Generate correspondence related to claims files and the department. Data input. Administrative duties. Maintaining GDPR compliance at all times. Complying with all company and department procedures.
