Mannings Bakery LtdDublin, Leinster, Republic of IrelandNPD Manager Role We have an excellent opportunity for a New Product Development Manager to join a successful Bakery Manufacturer based in North Dublin. Within our production & NPD facilities, you will be involved in the optimisation and development of bakery products to the agreed timescales and costings. Key Responsibilities include : Identify and validate new national and international market trends and develop opportunities aligned to the company growth strategy Analyse relevant market intelligence reports and market feedback to stay abreast of key developments and changes in the industry Present new ideas to the business team and meet the companies launch targets Identify areas of improvement within our product range, recipes and process flows in order to assist continuous improvement Manage NPD projects through to the end including production trials Work closely with suppliers on continuous improvements and sourcing necessary raw materials for the purpose of NPD Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders (production, sales, quality, finance) to ensure delivery of NPD projects on time Travel to meet customers as required to maintain and present NPD ideas and projects Requirements : Food related degree, relevant qualifications, and similar experience Able to work individually and as a team to strict guidelines with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and quality Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion for food Full driving licence and flexibility to travel abroad occasionally Full time, on-site permanent role Negotiable salary depending on experience
