Queen's University BelfastBelfast, Antrim, GBThis role will assist with the administration, recruitment and collection of data from study participants (pregnant women) as part of the RESPIRE project which is examining the effects of outdoor and indoor air pollution on mothers and babies. This will entail working with hospital clinic staff to contact and recruit mothers attending maternity clinics in Northern Ireland, gaining consent for participation and data collection and entering relevant data into the study database.
Due to the nature of the work, the candidate will need to travel by car (or be able to meet the mobility requirements of the post) and work flexibly to ensure successful recruitment and follow up of trial participants.
About the person :
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria :
- Relevant academic or vocational qualifications e.g. 2 A Levels or equivalent or NVQ Level 3 in Administration or Business Management or equivalent. OR ;
- Significant vocational / relevant experience, to include at least 4 years in the successful management of an organisation dealing with data management and research in a competitive research environment. AND ;
- Specific, relevant experience to include : Experience of recruitment of project participants and data collection.Experience recruiting, retaining and engaging with participants for research.Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
