Hours : Full time 37.5 hours per week

About the Job We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team.

The role is ideal for a professional looking to make a real impact across all stages of the employee life cycle —from onboarding to offboarding— and will play a key role in promoting a positive workplace culture aligned with FoodCloud's strategic goals and values.

Reporting to the Head of HR the role will offer a balance of operational responsibilities and strategic support across a wide range of HR initiatives and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Assist with recruitment processes across various roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring practices, from job posting to onboardingFacilitate collaboration with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptionsFacilitate and oversee smooth onboarding and induction processes for new hiresMaintain accurate employee records, ensure HR documentation and employment law compliance, and update HR systems to support data-driven decision-making and reportingPrepare, analyse, and present HR reports and metrics to identify trends and inform decision-makingServe as a primary point of contact to management and employees on HR queries and concerns that cover topics such as leave, performance management, conduct, compliance, and other employee relations mattersLead and contribute to the development, implementation, and review of HR policies, procedures, and processes ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulationsContinuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experiencesLead and support key HR processes, including policy compliance, payroll reporting, leave management, probation reviews, and annual performance appraisals, ensuring consistency, fairness, and timely completion.

Drive policy development, maintain accurate compliance documentation, and continuously improve processes to align with best practices and legal requirementsLead on the coordination and delivery of internal HR communications, promoting and championing a positive and inclusive workplace cultureCoordinate and deliver training programmes, workshops, and continuous learning opportunitiesManage the L&D budget, collaborate with teams and individuals to identify and address training needs, track L&D activities across the organisation, and evaluate programmes for continuous improvementProvide support in benefits administration including enrolment and changesReview and advise on employee benefits programmes, provide guidance on available resources, and conduct market research on compensation trends to maintain competitive offeringsContribute to the implementation of DEI initiatives across the organisationManage the offboarding process including final paperwork, knowledge transfer, conducting exit interviews and analysing feedback for improvement opportunitiesParticipate, lead, and support on various HR and organisational change and employee initiatives and projects as needed, adapting to evolving team and organisational priorities.Ensure all employee data is handled securely in line with data protection regulationsKey Skills & Experience Degree level qualification in HR or a related fieldCIPD accreditation (or working towards it) is strongly desirableMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR with exposure to a broad range of HR functionsSolid knowledge of employment laws and regulations and best practicesExcellent interpersonal written, and verbal communications skillsExcellent attention to detail, organisation, and planning skillsStrong technical competencies including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and HRIS platformsEnthusiastic and willing to both learn and share knowledgeDemonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environmentAbility to work on own initiative and demonstrated ability to obtain results through teamworkAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all timesBenefits Overview The role will be based in our Dublin Hub and will require 2-3 days in officeWe are very proud of our culture, and our vision, mission and values which you can read more about on our website and on social media channelsWe are dedicated to supporting all colleagues in their development with a breadth of training, mentoring and experiences available.
