Based in Dublin, Irish Life Assurance plc is a large life assurance, pensions & investment company and the Irish Life Group is the entity that manages the businesses of Irish Life Assurance plc in Ireland.

We report to our parent company in Canada (Great West Lifeco).

Covering Finance, Actuarial, Risk & Compliance the role requires EA cover for :

The Finance DirectorThe Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary IrelandHead of Actuarial FunctionThe Chief Compliance OfficerThe Executive Assistant will act as the primary point of contact for the Finance Director / Chief Risk Officer with internal / external stakeholders.

The Executive Administration Assistant will report into the Finance Director.

They must be pro-active, highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, with the maturity to handle confidential information.

Plans change frequently so flexibility and the ability to respond under pressure to a number of different demands and priorities is key.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and prioritise the Finance Director / CRO correspondence and calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangementsProvide support to the EA for the Chief Executive (this will be mutual arrangement)Management of documentation and papers for key meetings, minute taking where necessaryLiaise with Executive's direct reports to ensure priorities are kept in focusCoordinate with other executives and departments to ensure timely completion of tasks and projectsManage expenses and prepare expense reportsEvent / conference managementAssist with special projects as assignedThe PersonThe ideal candidate will have :

Extensive experience (approx 5 years) in a similar role supporting executive-level / C-Suite managementExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalConfidence to work and interact with a broad range of senior stakeholdersProven ability to handle confidential informationAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant softwareSelf-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously or as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and accuracyA commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive work environmentPlanning and OrganisingTeam Working & Cross Functional Collaboration
