Are you deeply connected to U.S. culture, news, and social conversations? We’re looking for a Content Specialist with strong knowledge of the United States to help identify and elevate the most relevant, engaging, and timely content on a leading text-based social media platform. This is a remote evening shift role (00 : 00–08 : 00) with on-site training in Dublin, perfect for someone who thrives in digital spaces and has a sharp editorial eye on U.S. trends and current affairs.
What You’ll Do :
- Curate and contextualize trending topics and conversations focused on the U.S. market—including news, culture, politics, and entertainment.
- Review user-generated content from a variety of sources including public figures, influencers, publishers, and creators.
- Apply editorial judgment and platform guidelines consistently across high volumes of content.
- Flag edge cases or ambiguous topics and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them.
- Use internal tools and social listening platforms to support content discovery.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in editorial processes and user experience.
What We’re Looking For :
Strong knowledge of and connection to the U.S. market —you should be fully comfortable discussing American news, politics, entertainment, and cultural trends.Proven experience in social media, digital media, content creation, journalism, or editorial roles.Excellent communication skills, with impeccable spelling, grammar, and editorial judgment.Familiarity with social media platforms and user-generated content environments, especially text-based conversation networks.Experience with social discovery or listening tools.Third-level degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Marketing, Journalism, Communication, or a related field is essential.Key Details :
