Job Title : Network Engineer About the role A brief summary A Network Engineer configures and supports layer 3 transport and maintains a broad layer 2 domain within an existing infrastructure for our client, a leading esports specialist.

Your day will involve supporting networking for the remote broadcasting of live video events.

This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities.

A candidate should be comfortable rapidly triaging and resolving network issues in high-pressure live environments.

What you'll be responsible for Manage and support networks that power Riot's global events and competitive environmentsActively engage with other teams to build resilience into the systemEnsure systems are appropriately documented, and that documentation is maintainedManage ambiguity within complex and diverse problem spaces, breaking down problems and clearly communicating trade-offs throughout developmentSupport global events on-site & remotelyThis role is for you if 3+ years experience working with a medium (20+) scale networkExperience managing and troubleshooting Layer 2 / 3 networking issuesIn-depth knowledge of either Cisco or Juniper CLIUnderstanding of network security concepts : stateful firewalls and DDoS mitigationFunctional knowledge of DHCP, DNS, NAT, QoS, SNMP, SyslogPractical experience troubleshooting BGPJNCIP-EN / CCNP enterprise or equivalent experienceExperience with Palo Alto appliances and Cisco NexusExperience with Multicast, IPSec, SDWAN, WiFiExperience supporting traveling events, roadshows or conferencesExperience supporting live video production
