Production Supervisor Meat Processing | Galway Full-Time | Competitive Salary | 40 hours / week Our client, a leading meat supplier based in Galway, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. This role involves leading a team of 15+ and ensuring high performance, productivity, and food safety compliance. Key Responsibilities : Supervise daily production across multiple lines or departments. Lead and coach teams to meet KPIs and performance targets. Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, GMP, BRC, and health & safety standards. Manage production schedules and allocate resources effectively. Conduct performance reviews and support training initiatives. Quickly resolve operational issues. Coordinate with Factory Manager, QA, and Order Admin for seamless operations. Support internal and external audits and inspections. Drive improvements in productivity, waste reduction, and team efficiency. Report on daily / weekly performance, highlighting risks and opportunities. Requirements : 35 years supervisory experience in food manufacturing or FMCG. Strong understanding of food safety, QA, and H&S standards. Proven team leadership and performance management skills. Familiarity with production planning systems and KPIs. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Desirable : Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or Operations Management. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
