Job Title : Furniture Delivery & Assembly Specialist

Key Responsibilities :

  • Customer Experience : Deliver exceptional service, ensuring all interactions reflect a commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  • Safe Delivery & Assembly : Safely transport, deliver, and assemble a variety of furniture, ensuring each item is handled with care and positioned thoughtfully in the customer's home.
  • Professional Conduct : Maintain a high level of professionalism during all deliveries, including pre-calls for scheduling, ensuring that all interactions with customers are courteous and respectful.
  • Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance : Ensure company vehicles are properly maintained, clean, and ready for use. Perform daily checks and report any issues immediately to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Safety & Compliance : Follow all safety protocols when handling tools and assembling furniture, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Documentation : Accurately complete all required paperwork, ensuring records for deliveries, assemblies, and any customer issues are recorded and reported.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations, occasionally assisting with warehouse tasks and inventory management when needed.
  • Problem-Solving : Handle unexpected challenges, such as missing parts or difficult assembly tasks, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Desired Skills & Experience :

  • Proven experience in furniture delivery and assembly , with the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.
  • Effective communication skills , ensuring clear and accurate information is shared with colleagues and customers alike.
  • Time management : Ability to stay punctual and meet delivery schedules while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Proactive attitude with a can-do approach to tackling challenges and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of your responsibilities while contributing to team success.
  • Essential Criteria :

  • Must hold a Cat B driving license and be capable of driving a 3.5t Van .
  • Physically fit to manage the physical demands of the role, including heavy lifting.
  • Knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate using digital tools or apps.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills, including handling documentation and reports.
  • Ability to perform light furniture assembly .
