Job description

CHI) is leading the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street, and Tallaght, as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

  • A relevant scientific degree and postgraduate qualificationDescriptionPurpose of the Role The purpose of this post is to :

Support the Chief II in managing the physiology services.Ideally, the Chief I will be suitably qualified to oversee, progress, and develop the ECG, arrhythmia, and pacing section of the department to a high standard.Provide a high-quality cardiac investigation service to children with known or suspected cardiac disease.Ensure the upkeep of services and equipment allocated to your care.Assist in providing continued education to the staff in the department.Assist with the commissioning of the department for the New Children's Hospital.Qualifications :

Possess a BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technological University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology.Or possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP).If qualified in or prior to 2005, : (a) Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology.(b) Or possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by the IICMP.Experience and Capacity :

Minimum of 5 years satisfactory relevant post-qualification experience.Clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.How to Apply & Informal EnquiriesApplications must include a cover letter outlining relevant experience demonstrating how the essential criteria are met.
