Job descriptionExperience working in a cafe, deli, or kitchen environment (preferred) Barista experience is desirable Able to multi-task and stay calm during busy periods A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills High standard of personal hygiene and cleanliness Basic Food Safety training (a plus, but not essential - training provided) Must have a valid work permit to work in Ireland Fixed shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, 3-5 days a week, Monday to Sunday A welcoming, modern work environment with full support from our team On-the-job training and development Staff discount in the cafe Free on-site parking

About the Role :
Kiltipper Woods Care Centre is a modern, award-winning facility that includes a bright, friendly on-site cafe, open to both residents and the public. We are now looking for a Cafe / Deli Assistant to join our team!
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role in a busy cafe, where you'll prepare and serve fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot dishes, and beverages.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and serve hot and cold dishes including sandwiches, wraps and salads.
- Make and serve hot and cold beverages
- Deliver friendly, helpful service to all customers, including residents, visitors, and the public
- Keep the deli and cafe areas clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times
- Assist with stock rotation, waste management, and maintaining high food quality
- Help with basic food prep and presentation in the kitchen when required
