The Hyatt Centric is delighted to invite applicants for the position of Breakfast Supervisor.

This is Ireland's first Hyatt Hotel. Adjacent to St Patrick's Cathedral, this 234-bedroom 4 Star property will include restaurant, bar, meeting and event facilities and fitness centre. THE ROLE

To ensure the smooth and efficient running of all breakfast service Food & Beverage Outlets in the Hotel and to promote a positive image to both customer and colleagues in relation to service and quality of food and beverages.

To provide a high standard of the service of food and beverages to guests

Supervising a large team of staff in a highly pressurised quality driven environment

RESPONSIBLE TO :

General Manager, F&B Manager, Food Services Manager

MAIN DUTIES

To carry out all Supervisory duties as per the agreed standards.

To take control and responsibility for the Restaurant, Bar, Cafe on Breakfast service

To take every opportunity to maximise revenue & control costs

To assist and carry out training as required and to document the same.

To be responsible for the day-to-day queries, feedback ,operations & issues that arise in the Restaurant at Breakfast & Lunch

To ensure the highest levels of Customer Care are always practised.

To ensure cash / vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner in the Restaurant.

To deal with all complaints in a courteous and efficient manner and inform the Senior Manager.

To attend the weekly Heads of Department meeting when required

To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests, and any other persons on the Hotel premises.

To carry out H&S, fire and accident details

To observe all safety rules and procedures.

To ensure that all materials and equipment are not left in a hazardous state.

To report and where possible, act on incidents of accidents, fire, loss, or damage.

HOURS OF WORK

Your normal working week will be 5 days over a 7-day roster working from 7am - 3pm. The weekly roster includes weekend work.

TENURE OF EMPLOYMENT

This post is full time in nature.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

At least 3 years experience in a busy Food & Beverage environment in a busy hotel property leading a team

Should be motivated team player with excellent organisational and people management skills.

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ensure customer service and hospitality levels are kept to an exceptional level.

Excellent planning and organisational skills.
