Are you ready to take the next step in your logistics career? A growing and dynamic business seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple warehouse sites in Ireland.
This is a pivotal role in a fast-moving, hands-on environment, offering real responsibility, operational variety, and opportunities for growth. You’ll report directly to the General Manager and Managing Director and play a critical part in keeping operations running smoothly between two different sites.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations across two yards in Dublin and a third warehouse in Longford.Oversee the safe handling and movement of stockSupervise and support a small but efficient team : 1 forklift driver, 3 agency warehouse staff, and a Stores Warehouse Manager.Ensure timely and accurate dispatch, stock control, and order fulfilment.Collaborate with internal teams including Commercial and Residential Directors, transport partners, and customer service.Coordinate inbound shipments, including high-volume imports from European manufacturing partners.Monitor and improve warehouse layout, workflow, and space utilization.Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations and company standards.Key requirements
Strong experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in construction, building materials, or similar industries.A hands-on leader with proven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop warehouse staff.Working knowledge of WMS systems, MS Office, and inventory processes.A forklift license (counterbalance or reach) is highly desirable.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Flexible and calm under pressure, with an ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.Willingness to travel to the Longford warehouse occasionally as required.On offer
