We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager- ICU in our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
- In their absence, fill in as the CNM2 / Clinical Coordinator's stand-in.
- Actively reports incidents and promotes quality management incident reporting.
- Recognize the potential electrical, chemical, and transportation threats in the department and take preventative action.
- Keep an eye on the equipment's safe maintenance and report any issues to the clinical coordinator or her designee.
- Engage in the process of Joint Commissioning Accreditation (JCI).
- Participation in getting the hospital ready for the JCI survey.
- Serves as a resource for senior nurse support in the intensive care unit.
- Encourages efficient inter professional collaboration to maximize support, staff training, and patient care.
Requirements
The importance of NMBI Registered General Nurse RegistrationA bachelor's degree in nursing is a necessary postgraduate credential in critical care and is preferred.A preceptorship Desired Essential ACLSFive years or more of cardiothoracic or surgical intensive care unit experience, together with proof of a beneficial impact on critical carePreceptor for a student enrolled in an adult critical care courseBenefits
