Lead Software Engineer – Java / Spring

Global FinTech Leader | Dublin / Hybrid | 12-Month Contract with Extensions

We're working with a high-profile global payments client trusted by the world’s largest financial institutions. They’re hiring a Lead Software Engineer to drive delivery and innovation across key Java-based platforms.

What You’ll Do :

Lead a team of engineers in delivering backend services using Java and Spring
Influence architecture decisions and advocate for clean code and scalable systems
Foster a DevOps culture, integrating testing and automation into the pipeline
Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals

What You’ll Bring :

7+ years Java development experience; recent tech leadership responsibilities

Expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and containerisation

Solid experience in Agile / Scrum environments

Strong problem-solving mindset and mentoring skills

Hybrid working in Dublin

12-month contract +renewals

Competitive daily rates available
