Control Room Monitor

Orange Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading client in Ballymount, Dublin to find a Control Room Operator who will play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly and securely. This is a key position at the core of real-time monitoring and emergency response-ideal for someone with sharp attention to detail and a calm, focused mindset. As part of the Control Room team, you'll be responsible for overseeing safety and security systems across multiple sites using advanced monitoring tools and technology. Responsibilities : Actively monitor a range of systems including security, fire detection, life safety, AV, and building automation from the central control room Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, alerts, and incidents, following established response procedures Liaise with on-site personnel, engineers, and emergency services when required Log incidents accurately and report system faults or irregularities Perform basic remote troubleshooting and escalate more complex technical issues Uphold all site safety and security standards Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with data protection policies Requirements : Previous experience in a control room, GSOC, or technical / security monitoring environment Familiarity with systems such as CCTV, alarm monitoring, fire / life safety, or building management is an advantage Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Comfortable using monitoring software and general IT tools Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends Skills : CCTV Alarm Systems GSOC
