We are delighted to be hiring a Senior Machine Learning Scientist for the AI Agent product at Zendesk.

You will own a designated product area and revolutionize how our customers experience our products.

This is an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between cutting-edge ML research and real-world impact.

You'll have the freedom to shape the product roadmap, discover innovative ML applications, and collaborate with a talented cross-functional team.

Key responsibilities : Designing and testing novel AI solutions for real business problems Owning research projects end-to-end from understanding business requirements to design, implementation, experimentation, and reporting Participating in research discussions and peer reviews Keeping up with NLP and ML literature and introducing new concepts as potential solutions Collaborating with machine learning engineers to implement designs into production Using suitable tools for rapid testing of hypotheses, considering future production needs Working with Product managers and stakeholders to discover product roadmap Who you are : Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.

Proven record of Machine Learning or NLP research, ideally in industry Knowledge of building deep learning neural network architectures, especially for NLP Ability to translate research ideas into proof-of-concept models Practical approach to researching ML solutions to business problems Experience with conversational AI is a big plus Positive, proactive team player passionate about their craft Excellent communication skills and fluency in English Success in this role is measured by : Alignment of work with product roadmap and strategic goals Effective collaboration with stakeholders Ability to identify and prioritize new opportunities Zendesk builds software for better customer relationships, empowering organizations to improve engagement and understanding.
