At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Social Care Team Leader to join our client’s growing team based in Carlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Care Team Leader to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes :

• Act as a role model for staff, promoting professional and therapeutic approaches to child care.
• Support the Social Care Manager in the delivery of high standards of care in line with HIQA  regulations and Children First
• Lead, supervise, and support a team of Social Care Workers and Relief Staff on shift and ensure accurate and timely recording of daily reports, incident logs, medication, and other documentation.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual placement support plans and daily routines.
• Facilitate communication with families, social workers, schools, and external professionals as required.

Experience you need :

• Minimum 3 years of postgraduate Social Care experience
• Minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care, or other related courses
