Job description

A global leader in professional services is expanding its Innovation Engineering Team in Dublin and is seeking a hands-on, delivery-oriented Full Stack Engineer. This is a rare opportunity to join a cutting-edge innovation hub focused on rapid prototyping, AI-driven development, and direct collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business.

About the Role

You'll be part of a dynamic Product Engineering Team that builds and tests new ideas quickly, focusing on scalable digital solutions with real-world impact. In this role, you will lead full-stack development initiatives, contribute to architectural decisions, and work on high-visibility projects that engage with senior business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks and tools.
  • Lead technical design and implementation across the stack.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams and stakeholders to create fast, functional prototypes.
  • Integrate with APIs, data services, and AI-driven technologies including Generative AI tools.
  • Contribute to design sessions, technical discussions, and team mentoring.

Core Technical Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial experience delivering scalable digital products.
  • Strong full-stack engineering skills, ideally with React + Tailwind / Next.js on the Front End and Node.js (Nest.js) on the Back End.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Exposure to MEAN / MERN stack development.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools like JIRA / Confluence.
  • Knowledge of automated testing practices.

  • Python development
  • Apigee (API Gateway)
  • Microservices architecture and secure coding practices
  • Event-driven or reactive programming (RxJS, Redux, etc.)
  • AI technologies (eg OpenAI, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)
