Retail Manager

Red Chair Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Retail Manager for a long-established marine retail business based in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.

As Retail Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high standards in customer service, merchandising, stock management, and sales performance.

You will be the face of the business on the shop floor, liaising with customers, suppliers, and the internal team.

Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage daily retail operations to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experienceDeliver excellent customer service and foster strong client relationshipsDrive sales targets and maximise store profitabilityManage inventory levels, ordering and stock controlHandle product displays and merchandising to optimise footfall and salesMaintain accurate sales and stock records using Excel and POS systemsTrain, supervise, and support junior staff as requiredLiaise with suppliers, manage deliveries, and stock checksEnsure the store is clean, well-presented, and compliant with health & safety regulationsRequirements : Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory roleStrong customer service and sales skillsIT literate with excellent Excel skills (reporting, stock tracking, etc.

A keen interest or passion for marine products or boating is a strong advantageThis is a full-time role based in Dún Laoghaire in which on-site training will be provided.

Salary is open to negotiation depending on experience.
