Job Title : Automation Engineer Min 3 Years relevant experience)

Description : We are hiring for our client, a top Automation company based in their office in Limerick, which produces high-quality automation solutions that impact the execution of real-world machinery and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automation Engineer to to assist in the development, commissioning and support of automation control systems across a wide spectrum of industries utilising cutting edge technologies.

The Role :

  • Assist in the development, commissioning, and support of automation control systems across various industries using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Work on a wide variety of projects in all industry sectors using the latest technology and software.
  • Design and deliver high-quality automation solutions.
  • Interact with customers to understand and meet technical requirements.
  • Assess existing technologies and processes to enhance performance.
  • Document projects and manage change control.
  • Independently manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Provide technical support to operations.
  • The Person :

  • Third level qualification in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Preferred experience with Rockwell, Ignition, Siemens, OSI PI Historian, VBA.
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP is advantageous.
  • Cisco Networking qualification and / or VMware or equivalent is a plus.
  • Familiarity with robotics and safety standards is a bonus.
  • Ambitious, confident, and professional individual with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
