Finance Business Partner – Projects Overview : We are seeking a commercially focused finance professional to join a dynamic infrastructure and services business.

This role supports strategic decision-making by providing performance insights across large-scale projects, ensuring commercial integrity, and driving profitability through accurate forecasting, margin analysis, and project controls.

Key Responsibilities : Partner with Project Directors and Operational Teams to assess and improve project performance.

Lead financial oversight of project delivery : budget tracking, variance analysis, and profitability assessments.

Manage monthly commercial reporting and project reviews, flagging risks and identifying opportunities.

Prepare and present commercial forecasts, margin performance analysis, and cost control insights.

Support contract reviews and customer negotiations from a financial lens.

Drive improvements in project controls, cost recovery, and commercial awareness.

Liaise with finance, commercial, and operational stakeholders to enhance financial governance across projects.

Skills & Experience : Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent, with 4+ years' post-qualification experience.

Proven background in commercial finance, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or telecoms, construction Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret project performance and influence operational decisions.

Confident communicator with experience engaging non-finance stakeholders.

Proficiency in Excel, project finance systems, and financial modelling.
