Our client , a leading construction civil engineering company are looking for an experienced Civil Site Foreman  to their team in Dublin . Currently the client is working on multiple sites and requires the right candidate to be flexible. The company in question are a medium sized civils contractor who have built a strong reputation and a growing business throughout the country with 25 years experience in the Irish market working on roads, airports, ports, drainage, and public realm projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Liaising with the PM, Design Team & Client
  • Managing Subcontractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site and
  • Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget
  • Managing and implementing the Safety Management System
  • The management of all construction activities
  • Plan programme works
  • Dealing with Local Authorities and Consulting Engineers
  • Dealing with Quality Control and Safety on Site

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years’ site management experience
  • Relevant 3rd level Degree would be advantageous
  • Previous main contracting experience would be beneficial
  • IT literate – emails, reports, management systems
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness
  • Must be flexible and open to travel
