Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years.
We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway.
Our growing network of branches in Ireland and our sizeable fleet means we can get vehicles to customers quicker than any other light commercial vehicle supplier and we keep those vehicles on the road longer by minimising downtime.
Our vehicle fleet includes light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our expanding business, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team in our Dublin branch.
This is a great opportunity for someone with similar experience in a previous role.
Role Overview Responsible for processing all damages (in life & end of life) that require Bodyshop assessment & repair.
Ensuring vehicle downtime days are in line with KPIs and that no more than 2% of the Dublin Fleet are in Bodyshop at any one time.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities Take additional images of damaged vehicles as required for inclusion in the damage packUpload damage pack (files / images, etc.)
to the shared drive / damage fleetCarry out QC (Quality Check) on vehicles returning from Bodyshop repair to qualify repair conditionNotify the Workshop Manager of QC outcomes for repair acceptance or failManage and monitor vehicles in the BodyshopManage damage packs to satisfy requests for missing or additional documentation, information, or imagesBe the point of contact for Service Department and other Business Areas for queries or supportOffer training support to Satellite Branches as neededLiaise with Asset Department for vehicle collection / movements, advising if a vehicle is driveable or requires recovery to the BodyshopEnsure job cards are raised promptly for all events and that CAP is kept up to dateUpdate internal and external customers on repair progressHandle emails and correspondence as requiredMaintain daily communication with external BodyshopsConduct weekly and monthly fleet audit reportingFile documentation appropriatelyThis list is not exhaustive, and flexibility is required.
Person Specification - Education, Qualifications, and Training Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalentBasic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenanceExperience in a Bodyshop at any capacityProven track record of delivering excellent Customer Service and relationship buildingStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and ability to perform under pressureIT literate and competent with Microsoft OfficeSelf-motivated with excellent organizational and administrative skillsEnthusiastic personality with a can-do attitudeTeam player with adaptability to changeExperience in vehicle rental or motor industry preferredExperience in a Bodyshop, Warranty, or Workshop desirableMay suit an apprentice mechanic or panel beater interested in an administrative roleWhat we offer : We offer a competitive salary of €30,000 DOE per annum, pro-rata, plus :
